Supposed to be born in Switzerland in 1670. He arrived in the colony in 1710 and in 1719 he
built a gun factory, with the first boring mill
in Lancaster County on Mylin's Run, Lampeter Township, Lancaster County. Reputed to be one of
the first to produce Pennsylvania or Kentucky-type rifles |
